Fourteen years building eCommerce systems end to end.
I own the framework underneath, the storefront on top, the integrations in between, and the servers it all runs on. Currently lead developer on the brand and commerce platforms at Live to Play Sports.
Norco.com
Norco has built bikes in Canada since 1964. The checkout we shipped was an industry first: choose a nearby shop, they assemble the bike, you pick it up built and tuned.
It works by syncing independent dealer inventory into the site's own. More bikes become purchasable online, and the local shop keeps the sale. The platform runs on an in-house MVC framework and serves roughly 100,000 visitors a month.

Ride Aligned
Enter your measurements and how you ride; get a setup for your bike. Professional athletes and weekend riders use the same tool — around 4,000 people a month — and it has become the reference for the category.

- Lead development and technical direction across a two-person team; onboarded and mentored a junior developer, establishing coding standards and review practices.
- Own the architecture of norco.com — a custom PHP/MySQL/React commerce and brand platform on an in-house MVC framework and private CMS, serving roughly 100,000 visitors a month.
- Built and maintain ridealigned.com, and develop LTP's Shopify storefronts including axiomgear.com and the LTPS clearance store.
- Introduced Git, deployment automation and formal release standards to a team that previously had none.
- Containerized an internal tool with Docker and automated delivery to an on-premise server with GitHub Actions; run the DeployHQ and Vercel pipelines for production properties.
- Act as technical evaluator on vendor proposals for the norco.com replatform, and authored the technical specification for the LTP Dealer API before handing it to an external agency.
- Delivered client sites on the company's proprietary PHP CMS, running projects solo from quoting through launch — timelines and client communication included.
- Contributed to the CMS core: plugin hooks, filters, and a fully responsive administrative interface.
- Built and maintained plugins, both general-purpose tools and client-specific solutions.
- Handled technical support by email and forum, resolving coding issues and advising on CMS-specific functionality.
- Led a web development team and introduced the Crystal Agile methodology, increasing development throughput by up to 75%.
- Defined development processes and coding standards, and reviewed team output to maintain codebase quality.
- Partnered with sales, creative and project management on scoping, planning and case studies.
